This is movement in its purest form—traveling hut to hut through the Esplanade Range with only what you need on your back and the rest flown ahead by helicopter.
The Grand Traverse unfolds over four nights and three remote backcountry huts, blending long mountain days with yoga and meditation along the way. Your final two nights are spent at Sentry Lodge, where expansive hikes and more structured yoga practices round out the experience.

Guided Hiking
Let ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) Kristin & Beth guide you from hut to hut through mountains of the Esplanade Range. See sights you’ve never seen in places you’ve never been, and do it all in the company of kindred spirits.
Yoga Classes
Regardless of your yoga experience, you’ll be in good hands under Beth’s professional instruction as a RYT-500 teacher. Feel how the practice balances the physical exertion of hiking and encourages deep relaxation and mindfulness on this retreat.
Return Flights
Take in the excitement and awe-inspiring scenery on your flights to and from your home in the mountains!
Accommodation
The huts in the Esplanade Range are perfectly situated for an alpine summer adventure. Each hut is well appointed with cozy bunks, duvets, kitchen & lounge area. Finish your retreat at the grand Sentry Lodge, a backcountry destination not to be missed!
Gourmet Catering
All meals are provided by our experienced cooks, and special dietary requirements are catered for. You’ll love the fresh ingredients and creative tastes from our kitchen among the clouds!
Booking Details
Booking: To save your spot, a $600 non-refundable deposit is due. The final payment is due May 23, 2027. Payment can be made by e-transfer to revelstokeretreats@gmail.com, PayPal, or with a credit card (PayPal & CC will have a 3.5% surcharge added).
Cancellation Policy: Your deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel outside of 12 weeks prior to the trip start date your payment will be refunded minus your deposit. If you need to cancel within 6 weeks of the departure date, we will do our best (along with you) to fill your spot, in which case a refund will be given minus your deposit. If you need to cancel 4 weeks or less before the trip departure date without a replacement for your spot you will forfeit the cost of your trip.
Trip Insurance: Your vacation plan includes helicopter transfers to and from a remote area. Revelstoke Retreats & Golden Alpine Holidays are not responsible for delays due to bad weather, snow conditions, wildfires, guest travel delays, government restrictions, illness or illness exposure. Any additional or unscheduled helicopter flights required by guests will be at your own expense. We highly recommend trip cancellation insurance – one option would be contacting Uniglobe Travel Insurance.
Release of liability waiver: Please carefully read the release of liability waiver before arriving for your retreat. We will have paper copies for you to sign once we are all together. You will be required to sign the waiver in order to participate in the hiking portion of this retreat.
